I never use the GOTO features of my mount and prefer instead to manually navigate to intended celestial destinations. I find it is a more personal and intimate method of relating to the sky. Last night I star-hopped from easy to find Triangulum high in the sky, south to bright Hamal in Aries, and on to delta Ceti located close to a small party of galaxies enjoying the vastness of space together. Here is a 7.5 hour snapshot of that tete-a-tete between galaxies M77 and NGC 1055.
