Fornax Spiral Embrace

Clear dark nights irresistibly call me to stand under its star speckled dome and venture forth to capture faint photons coming from great distances far back in time. Last night found me once again exploring the galaxy rich expanse of Fornax near the Milky Way's southern galactic pole. NGC 1097 is a barrel spiral with flailing arms seeming to almost embrace another more distant galaxy in the background.
