IC 5146 Cocoon Nebula

The Cocoon Nebula is one of the many beautiful treasures found in the constellation Cygnus. It is an emission/reflection nebula with a complex gas structure located 4,000 light years away in our own Milky Way Galaxy. B+46 3474 is the magnitude 9.7 central star that illuminates this famous nebula.
