These are first light images with my new 90mm SolarMax II after accidentally dropping and breaking my old 60mm SolarMax!! Both the resolution and brightness of the new 90mm version is significantly and happily much improved over the smaller version. Contrast is also more finely dialed in with the SolarMax II that has an easy to use “rich view” tuning ring in front of the etalon which the older SolarMax did not have.
