C2013 US10 Catalina Up Close

C2013 US10 Catalina graces the morning sky in the constellation Virgo. It is visible through 10×50 binoculars as it makes its closet approach to Earth on January 17, 2016 but may grow dimmer as it also recedes from the Sun. This 30 minute image was taken through an 8” f2.8 Newtonian at 584mm.
