Comet 209P LINEAR

A new meteor shower is expected to occur five days from tonight on May 24. Periodic comet 209P LINEAR is the progenitor object to which the new meteor shower is attributed to. The meteor shower is forecast to have a peak of up to 400 meteors per hour and will radiate from the constellation Camelopardalis.
