Comet Garradd C 2009 P1

Comet Garradd C 2009 P1 is just a few days from closest approach to Earth. It glows at magnitude 7 and is easy to detect in a pair of 10×50 binoculars. The comet is quite extensive and easily spans over two degrees of sky or four full moon widths.
