Comet Lulin C/2007 N3 early this morning was an easy visual target through a 3 inch scope. It appeared large and fuzzy even with a last quarter moon shining quite brightly roughly 8 degrees away from it. No tail was visually detected. However, an 84 minute exposure reveals both a distinct tail and a faint anti-tail. East and the sun are to the left, while north is up in this image. The faint diagonal streak crossing the comet is a passing satellite captured during blue exposure.
