Compared to an image taken two nights ago, Comet Lulin now displays an even more prominent anti-tail (to the left and east of its nucleus) pointing towards the Sun as well as a much fainter tail pointing in the opposite direction. An unidentified object traveling eastward (possibly an asteroid) was also captured passing north of the comet and appears as a blue, green, red, and white streak each exposed two minutes long. These exposures were started at approximately 15:40 UT. The object is traveling much slower than a meteor but still quite rapidly across a 71×98 arc second field of view a little over three full moons wide.
