Jupiter – N16 First Light

First light finally came last night for my home built N16 astrograph which has been 20 months in the making. The scope still has a few bugs and collimation issues that have to be ironed out but I eagerly decided to give it a sky test never-the-less. Jupiter was my willing target but poor seeing unfortunately made the planet appear like a rambunctious bouncing ball of jelly making focusing extremely difficult. This image of Jupiter was taken at f/22 and is at its native size without resampling.
