Lovejoy C/2013 R1 Departing

After putting on quite a spectacular show as it approached perihelion last December, Comet Lovejoy C 2013 R1 is now growing more distant at 1.17AU and 1.52AU from the Sun and Earth respectively. The comet is still quite bright and is easy to spot through my 60mm finder under dark sky.  This 7×2 minutes exposure is through a 16 inch Newtonian at f4.5. The field of view is 29.4’ x 44.6’ arc minutes.
