NGC 1514 Planetary Nebula in Taurus 04h 10′ +30deg 49′

NGC 1514 is an especially lovely and delicately blue planetary nebula gently glowing at magnitude 10 in the constellation Taurus. Its expanding outer shell of stellar gas emanates from a magnitude 9.4 close central double star, SAO 57020. A fainter and larger gaseous shell also envelops the brighter inner region.
