Eskimo Nebula NGC 2392

The “Eskimo Nebula” is a famous planetary nebula in the constellation Gemini that is easily seen even in small telescopes. Like other planetary nebulae, the central star puffed up like pop corn rather than exploded like a nova. The result of the expanded stellar material is a curiously beautiful sample of the infinite shapes that populate the universe.
