IC 2177

IC 2177 is colorful star forming region in Monoceros. It is the “head” of the more wide spread Seagull Nebula. There is a small but distinct doughnut shaped object in the center of the upper right quadrant that I have not been able to identify even though the SIMBAD Astronomical Database.
