Mars Receding

Mars has shrunk from 13.9 arc seconds to 11 arc seconds six weeks past opposition. It also now displays a marked gibbous phase like the moon. The north polar cap continues to shrink and a cloudy haze covers a good part of the eastern side of the planet on the left.
