NGC 1788

NGC1788 is reflection nebula in Orion just north of the Witchhead Nebula. They form part of the expansive and colorful hydrogen clouds that are the birthing sites of infant stars. This is a first light image with my new ASI294MM Pro camera that features a backlit CMOS sensor with what is currently the most sensitive and lowest noise imaging sensor available to amateur astroimagers. The total integration time for this relatively dim object was 2.25 hours.
